I’m Helen Davies.
I live, breathe and dream weddings.
As a self confessed perfectionist and a fanatical foodie there are few things I enjoy more than creating unique experiences for others to enjoy. From entertaining family and friends at home to planning world-class events for a variety of clients.
I have over a decade of experience in event management and am incredibly proud to be regarded as one of the most sought after Wedding Planners in the UK.
Wedding planning is what I know how to do. It is what I do best.
Between 2013 and 2017, I was House Manager and Wedding Curator for Rise Hall, a Grade II stately home and prestigious wedding venue which until recently was owned by property developer and television presenter, Sarah Beeny. At Rise Hall, I was responsible for its transition from a newly renovated property to a multiple award winning wedding venue hosting around fifty weddings each year.
I am in my element when making people happy and I have won two prestigious industry awards based purely on customer feedback. For me, wedding planning is so much more than a job. It’s a passion. It’s a pleasure… and a privilege.
I honestly can’t imagine myself ever doing anything else.
I care about quality. I have no desire to plan as many weddings as I can. I aim to plan the best weddings I can. I prefer to plan a limited number of weddings each year and get it right. Every time.
At the end of the day, seeing you and your guests having the most incredible time… that’s my reward! It makes all the hard work and obsessing over every detail worth the time and effort.
Whilst I absolutely adore my work, there are some other things I also love to do in equal measure. I have an insatiable zest for life and my heart is at its happiest whilst exploring new places, usually accompanied by my adorable little friend of the four legged variety, whose name is Percy.
We currently live in the North of England in the lovely market town of Beverley where we are within equal distance of the countryside and the coast. When I’m not immersed in turning your wedding dreams into reality, you’ll probably find me in my favourite hiking boots stomping along a foot path or on the beach with little Percy at my side.
Although my work involves a great deal of travel, I predominantly work from home where the coffee is strong, the red wine has legs and the music is usually a little louder than it should be!
