Introducing Helen

As a self confessed perfectionist and fanatical foodie there are few things I enjoy more than creating unique and memorable experiences for others to enjoy. From entertaining my own family and friends at home to planning world-class events for a variety of clients. 

My professional career began in the corporate world over 20 years ago, planning unforgettable events throughout Europe for some of the world’s biggest brands, including private charters on board the Orient Express. Pivoting in to the role of professional independent Wedding Planner was natural and seamless.

Head-hunted by the high profile owners of a Grade II stately home, I was appointed as House Manager and Wedding Curator at Rise Hall. Over a period of three years, I was responsible for its transition from a fledgling restoration project to a multiple award winning wedding venue. 

Now operating independently again, I offer invaluable expertise to engaged couples in the UK and abroad, helping them to create their perfect day.  It’s a pleasure and a privilege, not just a job.  I care about quality and pride myself on getting it right, every time.  Seeing you and your guests having the most wonderful time, makes all the hard work and obsessing over every detail worth every bit of time and effort.

Whilst I absolutely adore my work, there are other things I also love to do. My heart is at its happiest whilst exploring new places, usually accompanied by my little dog, Percy. You’ll probably find me in my favourite hiking boots stomping along a foot path or throwing a ball on the beach for Percy or at home where the coffee is strong, the red wine has legs and the music is usually a lot louder than it should be!
