A ceremony that could belong to no one else
As an Independent Wedding Celebrant, I create and conduct completely personal wedding and vow renewal ceremonies, without the restrictions of a traditional religious or registrar-led ceremony.
It may incorporate personal vows, readings, music, family traditions, cultural elements or something created entirely for you. It can acknowledge the people and experiences that have shaped your lives and dispense with conventions that hold no meaning for you.
There is no requirement for your names to be fitted into somebody else's idea of what a wedding ceremony should be.
Whether you choose a grand country house, historic estate, private villa overlooking the ocean, beautiful garden or somewhere that holds particular meaning for you, your ceremony will be created around the two of you.
The beginning of your marriage deserves to be unforgettable.

The most beautiful wedding ceremonies don't happen by chance.
They come from experience, intuition and an understanding that every word, every pause and every moment matters.
By the time your wedding day arrives, I'll know your story and you'll know exactly who is standing beside you.
I'll guide you calmly through every part of your ceremony so that you can forget about timings, logistics and everyone watching, and simply be present with one another.
When your wedding day arrives, I hope I'll feel less like somebody you've hired and more like a trusted friend, someone who understands what matters to you, has your back and knows exactly how you want this moment to feel.
The Story Session
Before a single word is written, as your independent wedding celebrant, I take time to get to know you properly.
Rather than asking you to complete a questionnaire, I'll send you a carefully considered collection of questions before we meet.
They become the starting point for my signature Story Session, a relaxed conversation about how you met:
- How your relationship grew
- The adventures you've shared
- What you love about one another
- The little things that make you laugh
- The life you're choosing to build together
As we talk, I'll notice the things no questionnaire could capture:
- The stories that light you up
- The way you finish each other's sentences
- The laughter
- The affection
- The quiet details that say so much about who you are together
From that conversation, I'll write the first draft of your ceremony.
You'll read it together in your own time and we'll refine it collaboratively until every word feels right.
The result is a ceremony that feels natural, meaningful and completely yours.

Your Experience
Your ceremony is created entirely around you, from our first conversation to the moment you begin married life together.
Your investment includes:
- An initial consultation and my signature Story Session
- A completely bespoke ceremony, written exclusively for you
- Your first draft and unlimited reasonable revisions until every word feels right
- Guidance throughout the planning of your ceremony
- Liaison with your venue and suppliers where appropriate
- The professional delivery of your ceremony on your wedding day
- My complete commitment to you from the day you book until the moment your ceremony is complete
Your Investment £1,000
Travel within a reasonable distance of my Yorkshire base is included. Where more extensive travel or overnight accommodation is required, this will be discussed with you in advance and charged at cost.
Your date is secured with a £500 non-refundable booking fee.
The remaining £500 becomes payable when you receive the first draft of your ceremony, by which point your story has been gathered, your ceremony carefully written and our creative journey is well underway.

There are relatively few occasions in life when everyone we love is gathered in one place to witness something that will change us.
A wedding is one of them.
The person you invite to lead that moment becomes part of it: entrusted with your story, responsible for setting its tone and, for a short while, holding the attention of everyone who matters to you.
